Volunteer for the Kidney Kids Camp

Each year, children with kidney disease get to spend four days away together out in the fresh air. Many lead isolated lives as a result of their condition and treatment. Kidney Kids Camp is a safe, fun and life-changing camp designed especially for children with kidney disease and their siblings.

2019 Kidney Kids Camp will be held across 29 May – 2 June on the Mornington Peninsula.

Children with chronic kidney disease or kidney failure face many physical, emotional and psychological challenges, which can include:

  • interpersonal relationship problems
  • feelings of social isolation
  • behaviour and learning problems
  • delayed language skills development
  • delayed motor skills development
  • a negative self-image

There are a range volunteer opportunities at the Kidney Kids Camp - If you’d like to volunteer at this year’s Kids camp, please contact us by emailing Annette Smith via for more information.
